Visitor Non-Immigrant Visas

Experienced at Documenting B-2 Visa Applications

At Foley Law Offices, P.C., our experienced legal team has extensive experience helping people apply for visitor non-immigrant visas (B-2). This visa program allows individuals to visit the US for tourism, visiting family, and obtaining medical treatment. The underlying assumption of this visitors' visa program is that each person who uses it is a potential immigrant. Therefore, it is very important to document fully the visitor's intention to return to his or her home country. Otherwise the visa application may be denied.

Our attorney, John Philip Foley, understands the importance of providing full documentation for B-2 visa applications. Contact our immigration law firm to learn how we can use our skill and experience to help you obtain a B-2 visa for yourself or a family member. Call 1-888-973-6448.

Requirements for a B-2 Visa

Applicants for a B-2 visa must demonstrate that:

  • The purpose of the trip is for pleasure or medical treatment
  • They plan to stay for a time period
  • They have enough money to cover the cost of their time in the United States
  • They are tied to their home country by family, job, and other attachments
  • They have a residence outside the US to which they will return after the visit

How We Can Help

Our attorney is highly skilled at developing documentation to meet these requirements. As part of the visa application process, Attorney Foley gathers copies of materials such as bank statements, evidence of church membership, copies of photographs of the applicant's home, and anything that will demonstrate that the individual will return to his or her home country. He works with the applicant's family in the US to assemble the application materials. He also provides the family with important information about the requirements of the consulate or embassy abroad where the application will be submitted. Finally, he advises the family about the interview process, if that is required by the consulate or embassy abroad.
